Join your colleagues at the largest industry event of the year!

The Kentucky Grocers & Convenience Store Association (KGCSA) will be hosting its annual Pat Hicks Golf Classic on August 31, 2017 at Kearney Hills Golf Course in Lexington, Kentucky beginning at 9:00 am EST. Kearney Hills Golf Course is located right off of the Ironworks Pike exit close to the I-64/I-75 split.

Kearney Hills Golf Links was one of the first courses designed by the legendary Pete Dye, making it the exclusive course in central Kentucky to boast this attribute.

This year’s event will include multiple sponsorship opportunities to enhance your company’s exposure to KGCSA membership. If you are interested in sponsoring any particular event, please mark the appropriate box on the registration form. Event sponsorships include hole sponsors, contest sponsors (closest to the pin, longest drive, longest putt), Pat Hicks “Cup” sponsors, etc.

Donations of snack foods as part of a “goodie” bag prior to teeing off are also appreciated. If you have an interest in donating any particular food, please contact KGCSA staff.

Individuals and teams can also purchase a golf package that includes a “skirt” and a “string.” A skirt can be used at any hole, which if purchased, offers the individual an opportunity to hit from the women’s tees. However, if you choose to use your skirt on the contest holes, such as the longest drive or closest to the pin, you will not be eligible to win the contest prize.

Also available in the golf package is a “string,” which is a 5-foot piece of fabric that can be used on the greens to reduce the length of your putt. Once a certain amount of fabric is used, the team or player must tear the amount used and dispose of the material in the trash.

Lunch will be provided at the turn of hole 9 or 18, depending on if you start on the front or back of the course.

Following golf, there’ll be an awards reception, recognizing the 2017 KGCSA Pat Hicks Golf Classic sponsors, photos for the winning team, announcement of the contest winners and drawing of the raffle tickets for prizes. Raffle tickets can be purchased in advance through the registration form below or on-site at the golf course. All proceeds from the Pat Hicks Golf Classic directly benefit the association.

$129/person or $516/team

Registration forms may be mailed to the KGCSA office at P.O. Box 4222, Frankfort, KY 40604, emailed to KGCSA office coordinator Stacy Wallace at swallace@kgaonline.org, or faxed to 502-875-1595.

Thank you, H.T. Hackney, for sponsoring the golf carts at the 2017 KGCSA Annual Patrick Hicks Golf Classic!
